Quick Overview

Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) operates two main passenger terminals. While Terminal 3 is the primary and largest hub, Terminal 1 is mostly used for low-cost international flights and domestic routes.

Terminal 3 — The Main Gateway

This is the modern and largest terminal, where most international passengers depart and arrive: all full-service airlines (El Al, Lufthansa, United, etc.), the main duty-free area and premium lounges, and direct access to Israel Railways.

Terminal 1 — Low-Cost & Domestic

The historic terminal has been renovated and now serves as a hub for budget airlines and flights to Eilat: major low-cost carriers (Wizz Air, Ryanair, EasyJet — on most routes), domestic flights to Ramon Airport (Eilat), and a compact but efficient duty-free section.

Free Inter-Terminal Shuttle

The IAA operates a free 24/7 shuttle service connecting Terminal 3 and Terminal 1 (with a stop at the long-term parking lot). The shuttle departs approximately every 15–20 minutes. The ride takes about 10 minutes.

Flight type — Terminal 3: international regular. Terminal 1: low-cost & domestic.

Final Tip
